Been downloading 2.42 for about 3 hrs now and on 26% through a 512kbps ADSL. I wish they had it on the PS3 site!

Now the pc update failed whilst downloading and my ps3 turned off while trying to download it from my LAN cable... Again! What sort of "update" is this?

yep got 2.42 from dus01.ps3.update.playstation.net/ on pc and installed fine... back online!
edit - seems they've updated the ps3 site now with the current version... only took all day
