I dont think this is a matter of Sony deserving my money, i'll buy something if it is of high quality and noone can deny the Playstation brand of that, just look at the past, has it not been a success with the PSone or PS2? PS3 is an incredibly built machine with plenty going for it and alot of good games out or coming in the future *FFXIII isnt everything* It seems ALOT of people are still cut over the FFXIII debacle, which is ridiculous, you win some you lose some, PS3 are still getting FFXIII. They're more focused on new IP's such as Heavy Rain, Resistance, Uncharted etc *which i think is a good thing* while still maintaining some of the quality Sony based franchises such as Tekken 6, MGS4, Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2, God of War 3 etc.
Personally, i spend my money on a Sony product because i like what it offers me and i enjoy everything it features, so yes going by that they're deserving of my money.
