As opposed to 25 games on 360 that I own that are worth owning, and 12 on PS3 that I own that are worth owning...
I never said the Wii didn't have any DECENT games. One person is fine and stable. A group of people are crazy and violent. One game is good, but the library as a whole sucks. When when I say "one", I purely using it in a metaphorical sense. I know there is more than one game available.
And if your friend finds his 360 boring, I'm sorry, but he isn't a hardcore gamer. The 360 is the home for the hardcore gamer. Just because you and a few people you know are hardcore gamers and you all own Wii, doesn't make it so. Look at the bigger picture. The Wii is not aimed at hardcore gamers. Not even casual gamers. In general, it has no hardcore base. I when I say hardcore, I mean people who are totally dedicated to it. Go play Halo 3 for a few hours, and you'll see what I mean by hardcore. No Wii game has the online pulling power of any 360 title.

Nothing screams overused franchises more than Nintendo, that's for sure.
But that aside. Any gaming company responsible for this, certainly is not changing gaming for the worst....
