Playstation 3 Software & Firmware \ PS3 Controller Issues

When I turn my PS3 on via controller or the system itself, the controller automatically becomes controller 2, not 1. I have to connect my 2nd controller to get into the settings to change the controller number and its very frustrating.

Any way I can fix this?

Ive also noticed now when I play warhawk I cant use motion control? Very Odd.

For Warhawk, make sure the sixaxis movement is enabled. If it still doesn't work...obviously the controller is faulty / broken.

You most likely have a dongle plugged in a usb port on the ps3 taking port number 1 when you turn on the ps3, if I have the dongle for the GH3 guitar or buzz plugged in it does this.

I had my Buzz usb dongle in there!

Not sure if its fixed the sixaxis issue... ill try it later. My controller isnt faulty though becuase it happens for BOTH of my controllers.
