Ok so I just had somebody send me a PayPal invoice so I can pay for an item online (It is overseas)

I already have enough money in my PayPal account to pay for it. But for some reason when I click on the invoice and try to pay, it comes up with a page saying I have to register a credit card. All I want to do is pay this guy his money PayPal to PayPal.

Anybody know what I am doing wrong?

How bout do it the manual way, get his email address which is his paypal login. On your Paypal, Press Send Money, then enter the required details and then send it.

Because it just feels to me like the PayPal Invoice is more official and proof that you purchased something off him. Whilst sending him money there is no proof I really purchased anything, and he could just take my money and run.

Or is an Invoice the same as paying somebody manually?
