hopefully they will release a patch thats makes ps2 games region free, hopefully they do that for dvd discs aswell

Yup, I'm just not too sure if the PS3 can handle the scanlines of PAL, as in NTSC does 480 scanlines and PAL does 512 <?> Not too sure about that one <?>

I'm actually amused that people overlook the fact that the XBOX is made by Microsoft. Remember Windows and the grief it has caused PC users for years. It may be a good machine but the way Microsoft handles things (service packs, security issues, etc.), I'll stay with Sony thank ya very much

Windows Vista is a very good example. I had to reformat my computer because the crappy Vista didn't work. I actually BOUGHT the legitimate version, yet the validation code didn't work. Hmmm guess I'll be using a Mac.

I think its because the ps3 is just computer with very good graphics, I got a wii because I allready have a very powerfull PC.

yeah yeah blah blah blah your wii and your 360 are real nice but they just don't come close!! whats that you say 360 has better games blah blah the PS3 has just come out and it will take a year or more for the programers to full unleash the power within the PS3
