i found that lots n lots of people like to pick on the ps3, why is that, i think its a great machine. not the best price tag. but still why all the hostility

I personally am sick and tired of these console wars, it was always present (Mega Drive vs. SNES anyone???) and will most likely be everpresent. I am not biased towards one system or another, and think they are both worthwhile systems to have!

Oh and hardware-wise, PS3 beats the hell out of 360!

60GB vs 20GB (Premium Packs only!)
WiFi vs No WiFi (Only with an adapter on 360 - $169)
HDMI vs No HDMI (again, MAYBE an adapter later on)
BluRay vs DVD Player (again HD-DVD is an addon for $250)

So let's sum it up...
PS3 - $999.95
X360 + WiFi + HD-DVD = $590 (Prem Pack) + $169 + $250 = $1009

To not even get close to what the PS3 has inside it... and that's still with a 20GB HDD that you CANNOT upgrade (people have already upgraded their PS3 HDD to 750GB succesfully) and no HDMI connection...

I still think PS3 comes out on top just through that!

I'd say 1 year after launch is when Sony will start coming out on top, with games like DMC4, MGS4 and FFXIII coming out next year (or in case of DMC4, later this year)... as well as the release of GTAIV looming on the horizon later this year as well... All I can say is interesting times are ahead

The list of problems with the US & Jap versions of the console is now minimal as the FW updates have fixed quite a bunch. Of course you can see Eur/Aus Release having less problems than US/Jap, due to FW Updates.

You are a massive tool if you cant figure out that they get MONEY from advertisers to create a video that they have on thier site. You've watched it! Other people have watched it!
