Serious if you want to spend 1000 on a gaming maching you are pretty twisted. Sure its an awesome piece of plastic. Think about it... what if that money could go to UNI costs or a new CAR... But some people have 1001 dollars of money and dont give a shiz bout what they spend it on..

oh yea its a ntsc version not pal well dosnt matter im gunna get my ps3 before use lol but i cant play ps2 games or wacth bluray movies
Well you can always import your games from US (PS2 Games & Movies)... I'm stuck a bit worse off than you will as my console is NTSC/J, So I can only play Japanese PS2 games (which I have none of) at the moment... Here's hoping that somehow, someone, will allow the PAL games to work

pitips3: I wouldn't trade them in, keep in mind they (Sony or hackers) may eventually release a patch to allow you to play all PS2 games regardless of region... (Fingers crossed)... Well at least I ain't trading in any of my PS2 games...
PS. Yes, I am purposefully ignoring all the 360 comments as this is a PS3 site. Wanna talk 360, there's a mysite for that too!
