Yay! Now I can download the 1.81 update from the website at work today - 110 MB of downloady goodness that didn't cost me a cent for an update that is of no use to me!

But it still pisses me off that I had to wait DAYS to get this from the Sony site - that's DAYS that I was offline, due to an update that had ABSOLUTELY NO BENEFIT for me.

Yeh I only got my Ps3 online 2 days ago, and the first thing i had to do was update the firmware, which gives a few extra features but i also dont have HD tv so the upscaling of ps2 games is not-functional.!! does anybodys "search for file servers"(above photos and music) actually find anything? mine doesn't?
