Halo 3 got no where near as much hype as this. And considering how mediocre the first one was, there was really no justification for early hype. It kind of highlights how insecure die-hard PS3 fans are, because they hyped up a sequel to a crap game without seeing gameplay.
Granted, the game's turned out to be fantastic, but it is just a FPS. It's as if this is the second coming of Christ. No game has ever gotten so much hype.
