You and me both Cherrona, i mean that preview trailer of Silent Hill V you posted is just plain disturbing in every single way, they always have an eerie figure of something you cant describe like in Silent Hill 4 they had that floating girl with the long black hair covering her face. BRRRRRRRR *shudders*

The games are designed very well. Normally I'm scared by images, but in Silent Hill 1, despite the ****ty graphics and what looked like Lego men attacking me I was still scared ****less. Bravo to the developers.

I hear Silent Hill 5 isn't being developed by Konami, though. :x

Callan, you need to stop perving on those Insane Cancers from SH3. It's not healthy.

I know it's being made by different developers, but from what I've seen it looks fantastic.

I hope it recaptures that feeling from SH1. The others are good, but you can't beat the original. It had a unique feel and sound.

Sure the guitar riff wasn't "Angel's Thanatos" from SH2? That is an awesome track.

The official soundtracks are pretty hard to get and some are long out of print. What you find now is pretty well Chinese ones. I was pretty fortunate and able to find originals (although I did have to get a Konami Europe SH1 OST - the Japanese one was way too expensive).

I also managed to score the US SH4 Limited OST that was a give away in the US from some store when you preordered SH4.

You know Mobe, there's a Survival Horror Games thread if you want to chat about SH some more.

I even added a few vids from YouTube with some of the SH music.

One vid is Angel's Thanatos, but with footage of SH3, another is Hometown, and the last is Room Of Angel.

Also, I managed to get the Original Soundtracks from eBay. Wasn't easy.

But worth it.

As for the riff, it probably was. But he said SH, so I assumed it was Silent Hill and not Angel's Thanatos.

The ultimate horror game out at the moment as far as im concerned. Noone does it better than the Silent Hill series. The monster creations and storyline are always the high point, and SH always delivers.

@Cherrona: I like the US cover compared to the PAL version. EU one looks like a shot taken from within the game and not especially as a cover. But the Japanese version looks sick!

You could always print out the covers you like and replace the original with it.
