If you are looking to use a computer monitor, check out sites/shops such as MSY or Fluidtek. They are both in Sydney, and have 22" Lcd's for as cheap as $300, and around $340 for a good one (asus, chimei etc) . Way cheaper than other retail stores for the same brands.
