hi guys/gals this is a really noob question now i no u will laugh on ya computer chair but bare with me.... i have a 42" panasonic plasma
now as far as i no there is no HDMI port/s i paid 4999 and no ports (Ripped off) i was kinda wondering if i got a hd tuner which has HDMI ports hooked everything up and ran my plasma through the HD tuner would i be able to use the HDMI feature on my PS3 in to the Tuner to get 1080p... but i no its kinda out there and yes i am a noob but all help would be appreciated

Have a look at the back of the TV & make sure there is none.

Component is a good alternative to HDMI, you just won't get the 1080p resolution the PS3 can offer.

Go for Component and you will still get HD pictures

i read somewhere u can get DVID to HDMI cables and get 1080p but if ur getting 1080i y bother..

HDMI and DVI are 100% compatible... just that DVI carries video only. i run a DVI-HDMI cable from my macbook to my switch box then HDMI to my projector.

AV- Components inputs .. 2 lots
then it has another component/RGB in What eva that means haha
PC in.... with one vga input
Serial with some sort of Vga kinda looks the same as a vga but with less pin holes

ok so it has vga so can u get a VGA to DVI adapter my mate has one and then go DVI to HDMI ... im not sure?
