Bought Orange Box today. Promised myself I wouldn't...my protest against VALVE's attitude towards the PS3 and because of some less than flattering reviews of the PS3 port. .............................. .............................. Would absolutely not bother with the PS3 version... not trying to make a point about the hardware, we all know the PS3 is more than capable, but the game wasn't done by Valve, it was done by EA... and it just wasn't done right. The game's meant to be played on PC... the 360 does a very adequate job, but they didn't have the time or money to pull it off on PS3. EA did a very half-assed job porting this game.

Yes and no.
EA can make good shooter like Medal Of Honour, which works it magic on the PSP and the PS2 and possibly even the PS3 in the future. But most of their other games aren't very good

Still, it seems more like a PC game, so i think i'll get the PC version instead

No, I haven't, but go to Gametrailers.com and see the HD comparison between the 360 and PS3 versions... the PS3 is laughably slow, and the graphics are on a whole, a lot slicker on the 360.

That said, a two year old PC can do a better job than both consoles...

My thoughts exactly... play it on 360 or a decent enough PC and you'll think they smeared the game with butter...
