Guys , i am going shoppin tmorow, i have a LG Standard definition LCD tv , it supports S-video, i am running my ps3 on a normal tv using provided cables , will there be a big diffrence if i buy s-video cables and run my console on the LCD is it bettr then normal tv ??

Well I am running my PS3 through the official S-Video Cable, and yes the difference is VERY noticeable, however as Jeffie said, you want to get component if your TV supports it. The main difference is that component splits the video channel into 3 parts and S-Video into 2 (hence component will allow HD and S-Video don't).
