if your against other aussies then yeah COD4 is fantastic online,but the lack of lobbies and general ping issues are unforgivable for such a high profile & otherwise high quality game.

This is true. Still a great game nonetheless

Assassins Creed was a good game, don't get me wrong. But i had been following Assassins Creed since early developement, and watching Dev diaries etc. The game was a little dissapointing, i mean i still enjoyed it..but it didn't live up to my expectations.

All you people (Crazed Resistance Fans) please don't bash me. I did thoroughly enjoy Resistance :FOM... but i do think it is just a LITTLE overrated.

The only FPS i can think of that is overrated is Halo...

What makes Halo so highly rated is its accessibility. It's not the best FPS for seasoned FPS veterans, but it's very accessible for the modest of gamers. It's very "pick up and play" and thoroughly enjoyable. The online is a treat too. It's not in the top 10 FPS available, but it is something you'd recommend for someone new to the genre.
