they are adjusted so when you sit on the couch you can hear the fronts as the same level as the surrounds - so you are totally imersed into the movie or game.....

2 set on bipoles and other two set on dipoles....

system is a 70" sony RPTV (native 1080p), Denon 3808, Topfield TF7000 HD STB, LG DVD player upscales to 1080i, Speakers are two Monitor Audio RS8, 1 RS LCR centre, 4 RSFX surrounds and SVS PB12+ subwoofer which is sitting on the side of the couch that you can barely see....
