I won't work anymore mate, since 2.40 firmware you have to own the save file to use it. sorry,

What would I expect to pay for s/h PS 3 console. Are ther any that play PS 2 games.

just some advice, when a movie is playing (in game/on a dvd) sometimes it starts to jump slightly.

lately it seem to do it when it heated up (was 40 minutes into a movie and it would skip ahead 4-5 minutes randomly)

any ideas? i blew into the fan but not much dust came out and checked the cd drive but no dust in that..

could it be the lazer?

sounds like the laser is on it's way out. Lasers all in damn high demand at the moment.

prices have gone sky high. is your ps3 a 60, 40 or 80gb unit?

I can supply the laser, but the shipment is 2 weeks away, and I would need to know exactly the laser you have in your machine. will need to disassemble to work this out.

Laser replacements are $130-$180 depending on laser type. this includes labour.
