Hey has anyone got a Powerwave PS3 fan with the blue LED? I ended up buying one the other day.. so far so good - it lifts the console up a bit which makes for easy acess to the USB ports.. and the light is cool - but does anyone notice a difference with the fan? Its a pretty popular fan.. sold at EB and most online sites

yea i have a lightwave one but standing up straight, i tend to get more out of my ps3 when its up then the heat goes straigh up cause heat rises.
blue light is cool

Hey nice setup there hijakk I've got my consoles scattered throughout the house though on like 4 different TV's lol Got the plasma setup with the PS3 in the lounge room, got the 360 in my room (SD), got the PS2 in the games room (SD), and the PSone and SEGA Mega Drive in the study (on like... a 50 year old TV lol)
The fan is quiet as all hell as well which is nice... and the light is cool in the dark too.

no matter what you do, your PS3 is going to run its fan at the lowest mode. And thats what my fan is on anyway. So there's no point in an extra fan just for a 'blue light' imo.
I wouldnt spend anymore than $10 for a 'bluelight'
