Started this thread specifically for the online portion of the game. So go ahead start posting your Q and A's.
One thing I want to know is there any way to skim through an online lobby, primarily for the access to Oz servers? I just end up joining random games.

I played cops n' crooks a while ago. One of my favorite modes as teamwork applies along with some mayhem!

I haven't got the game yet, I ordered it from play-asia hoping to get the non edited version - but now i am reading that the online multiplayer may be locked so I would only be able to play against US people??
Can anyone else comment, whether you can choose what servers to play on and have you played online against people from other countries or only Aus players?
I dont think i can cancel my order now so i may be stuck with what i got!!

I've deffinitely played on laggy servers obviously stating an overseas host. I'm still not 100% sure of what sort of lag I experience, but I see people skipping at times and sometimes the rocket fired out of a rocket launcher doesn't explode after about a second after it impacts. On an Australian host there wouldn't be any of this.

Gza bro i tried to play online with ya but lagged out,next time set up a private match as host & invite people & i'll totally go 15 vs me yehaaaaaaaaa 
2 quick questions though to anyone..1.How do i hail a taxi & 2.Is GTA as blurry as it seems or am i just ******* smashed P.S Sorry the questions don't relate to thread but **** it lol.

press L1 when near a taxi to call it. then you walk up to it and hold down triangle.
it doesn't seem blurry to me, but in the shadows and when it's night, it's too black and can't see where you're going.
is there any way to find out your connection status when playing multiplayer? like cod4?

yea sorry bout the game Smajs, I din't know what server I was in, It was pretty laggy on my side too. It actually works a bit like COD4. You choose game type and it shoves you into a random room. Hopefully you get an Ozzy host. The good thing though if the host leaves it migrates to the next best connection. I'll invite you when I next get an oz server, so watch out for it!

I noticed how hard it is to test the lag. The only real way is finding a rocket launcher and seeing how long it takes for the explosion after the impact. The hit detection is precise though. No matter how laggy you are, if you took those shots it will hit!

smajs, they call it "motion blur"..... for fast bits. i guess its to cut down on code or lag or something.....

I'm a bit reluctant to start on the multiplayer. Normally when I get a new game, I master the single player then I start on the online play. What do you guys think, is it a bit foolish of me neglecting multiplayer for the next 30 - 45 hrs of single player?
Im so glad its finally here!!!! Been waiting soooooooooooo long!
