The PS3 wont come near the Wii. In the US, the average Wii lasts on the shelfs for all of one hour. To do this day, please keep talking about the fact they've never seen a Wii on the shelfs.

This is an industry where success breeds success. Game developers graduate to the consoles that have the biggest install base and as a result the successful console gets many more games. Just look at how many Wii and DS (mostly crap) titles are set to be released.
Then you have the my friends all have the Wii (or the DS) so I'll get one too attitude of people.

And finally look at Wii Fit. Wii Fit, you can almost be guaranteed will be responsible for selling more consoles than any other game this year, even more that GTA.

Don't get me wrong. The Wii is the worst of all the current gen consoles, but they have succeeded in breaking into market that no console has ever done before.
