The reason the new NBA game is called "Homecourt" is because the main focus is about basketball giving hope in the streets that the sport is played in.

As usual the same NBA Street game of 3-on-3 basketball play the players have to battle to earn respect for a selected hometown.

The goal is to beat NBA superstars on their hometown courts and the legendary parks around the world and for you to put your neighborhood on the map.

Geno one part of it right you play to get rep up for your neighborhood.

To answer Shadowblade question of why calling it's Def Jam Icon!!!

Is because in this game the player starts off as a underground producer who must fight his way to fame.

So in the game the player builds a record label and fight to gain more fame so they can start signing artists and become an icon.
