Anyways, ive got singstar, but im not that good with knowing song names so i was just wondering what you guys reckon are good songs to buy.. there are 220 and ive had a look thru but it would take ages to listen to every song

First i was on the US store, and i was like yeah thats ok price $1.50, but then i tried to pay and it rejected it, realized i was in my US PSN and so went to the AU store and it was $2.45 WTF sony??

I did my calculations before, in an already existing thread. Let me search for it, unless you find it before me lol
Edit:
I loaded 25USD onto my Entropay account (which cost be 26.24 because of the 4.95% loading fee). Each Singstore song is about USD1.49
That's 16.779 songs within 25USD.
Converting 26.24USD to AUD (assuming 1 AUD = 0.936 USD exchange rate) is AUD28.03. Each song on the Australian Singstore is $2.45.
Meaning that I can purhcase 11.441 songs within $28.03.
16 songs from the American Singstore, 11 songs from the Australian Singstore. I know where I'll be purchasing future songs

Should be, you can go to your Download History or something like that.
I believe all your purchases are linked to your PSN account. So if you sign in into your PSN account, I'm sure you can download them again.

I got a US singstar= to get Smashing Pumpkin's Today. ^^
and downloaded High and Dry off the US store. wasnt too sure will the song be uploaded under my AUS singstar account and it did.
Very Very happy to get cheap songs off US store.

And yes, the Australian Singstar game disc can purchase songs from the American store provided you're logged in as a user which has an American PSN account linked to it.
DiscoMark, I don't think they have different songs. The European Singstore should have more songs because Singstar was only recently released in America ...

Bingo! Just make sure you use a valid ZIP code with an American state.
Note: I suggest you use a state like Alaska, to avoid being charged State Tax!
