Playstation 3 Hardware \ HOW / WHERE: Putting Files on PS3 HDD

Hi guys,

I am looking to buyu a 500GB or a 1000GB external hard drive to put all of MY movies/simpsons/family guy/futurama episodes etc etc onto my PS3.

Have any of you guys got any info/help for me to be able to do this.

As i have sussed out a great deal on these external HDDs at WOW Sight N Sound .... however i dont want to buy one and then not know how to find files to put on there. (eg- also what file format works and what doesnt etc)

let me know if you can help.

I guess your hard drive should have these folders:
X:\Music\
X:\Picture\
X:\PS3\Savedata
X:\Video\

That should do it. The PS3 should recognise your video content, provided that the file format is supported.

One hard drive INSIDE the PS3, and another external hard drive connected via USB ... that's fine.

If you're asking where to download media files, I can't help you with that.
