Is there a function to hold a poll here? I couldn't find one anywhere?
When i tried to hold one on playstation.com.au forums they removed it.
Said it would cause flaming and stuff. I cant see how a bunch of adults participating in a poll could be a problem. When it got removed there had been about 27 votes. 11 of those voted they had theres replaced. I guy voted for 5 or more times!
I am not trying to cause trouble. Just interested in what other playstation lovers have experienced in regards to there consoles. How can that be problem enough to have my topic removed?

Ive had one replaced because of fan noise. And sent a second back that was as loud or louder than my intel stock fan pc. Sony tested it in a slightly air conditioned office and said it never got that loud there is nothing wrong with it. When i said there test should have been done in the same environment i run mine in ( a slightly heated house) they basically said stiff , its fine.

Mine is launch model (March 23 '07). No issues except browser freezing. Fan only noisy when on high which doesn't happen often...it's not THAT big a deal as I soon forget about it.

I wont register, but my answer is: No (60GB). Hopefully will never have to, but as one of the first models it probebly will. I wish they would extend the warranty for peace of mind though! 1 year for a PS3 isnt enough.

i've had mine replaced once...there was a problem with the internal memory that wouldn't allow the firmware to be updated....i took it back to harvey norman a few days later and then got a new one a few days after that (they had to get one from another store)...so i've never actually gotten one from sony as a replacement...but yeh...
