It states that the game is in Japanese(Even though English manual), I would like to get this game but id prefer them to make an full English release. So i might just wait a while before buying it just in case they do make an English release.

If the PSP version is anything to go by, it should be very accessible. It's a racing game and you should be able to work around it. But that's based on the PSP version. It's all in Japanese with a bit of English, but you can work around it.
BTW, I don't think we'll be seeing an English release.

I don't know what it means, but I think the Yes-Asia site said the online multiplayer is for Japan only.
Not sure if that means "only the Japanese version of the game can" or if that means "only people in Japan with the Japanese version can".

initial d was funny.... the protagonists gf was a call out girl or something. Got bored of the anime, only watched it because it was on late night pay tv. Lost the interest in it once i stopped paying my paytv.

i doubt it will have a english release, none of the ps1/2 initial D's did (as far as i know) but they were still good to play in jp, not that hard to fihure out
