It is an awesome game. I bought the full game, and have been playing it a lot.
The game structure itself is good (different modes, and the career mode is very good how you can work up). I started in the career mode with the Truck Series, and have made through 11 races. Some of the tracks are such hard work. It does get across well what NASCAR is about though - high speed tight races with a lot of cars and little margin for error. I'm just playing the races at the default 10%. I'd like to try some 100% ones eventually, but it is a lot of work.
Graphics are pretty good too. 720p though. Good antialiasing, and lighting effects are excellent. I keep admiring the track surfaces. All of the tracks are well modelled.
I'm a NASCAR fan, and have played a few nascar games over the year, but this is the only one I've stucked with. It is the first one with what I'd find immersive experience (on a hd widescreen set).
I hear the demo itself was a pretty poor example though. I don't bother with demos, ever.
