I would like to play against or with some of the people on this site but every time i try and create a squad and send invites nothing really happens i can see people online playing can i just join there game is this possibly, in the end i just play random games

if you bring up the friends list for sending invites in the game. You can join their game by pressing triangle.

you have to join a game they are already in, And then just hope you get put on the team they arnt on
