Eternal Sonata Confirmed for PS3 in Aus

Australian Playstation 3 owners with a taste for authentic Japanese role-playing experiences can celebrate with the news that Atari and NAMCO BANDAI Games are bringing Eternal Sonata for PS3 to Australian shores in Q1 2009, complete with new gameplay quests, a revitalised story, brand new costumes and additional playable characters.

When Eternal Sonata was released on the XBOX 360 last November in Western nations, it won the hearts of gamers and was a critical success.

The PS3 version will feature everything that made the XBOX 360 game so unmissable, with the addition of exclusive brand new features and content exclusive to the PS3 including:

* New adventures: exclusive quests, battles, events and multiple endings grow the story;

* Additional playable characters: now choose to play as Crescendo and Serenade;

* New Costumes: different costumes let players customise the appearance of their characters;

* Exclusive new music: even more of Frederic Chopin’s timeless classical music.

Eternal Sonata is due for release on the Playstation 3, Q1 2009.

what are you on about? I'm confused.

Anyway this game is really over-rated though if it goes down in price b/c the ps3 has NO rpg's.

I dled the demo last friday and tried it out. the graphics are pretty awesome, but i didnt really like the battle system too much. it's like half turn base half real time. No way id pick it up for full price, but hopefully it'll chuck a haze and go down to $40 in no time =p.
PS3 really needs some RPG's badly...

Eternal Sonata costs AU$29.90 new for 360, you think these extras on a 1 year old title are worth the AU$100+ price tag???

Not everyone has a 360. But I agree that $100+ is a bit steep. I think I'll wait til it's cheaper before checking it out (I refuse to pay around $100 for any game).
