Well known brand Sega announced at GC Developers Conference on Tuesday a new game to come out on two next gen consoles, the ps3 and the 360.

The game called Viking: Battle For Asgrad looks like an RPG (role playing game) and a game that will be like Lord of the Rings.

The character Skarin, is tasked with stopping the Goddess Hel and he facres many battles with enemies along the way.

Not much has been said about this game and I don't know enough about this game whether it will be a hit or not.

Sega Europe marketing director Gary Knight said, "Skarin is a cutting edge hero in a fantastic re-imagining of Norse mythology. He is obviously a very dangerous man. Add in his inner conflict, a confused heritage and a growing distrust of the Gods and you have the makings of gamings next great hero."

Expect to see this game on the 360 and ps3 in early 2008.
