Piracy effecting future PixelJunk PSP port plans

Dylan Cuthbert, the president of Q-Games has stated that due to high piracy rates, it has discouraged the Q-Games team to release any future ports to the PSP. Cuthbert stated,
"I don't think we'll port anything else to the PSP, we have to see how PJMD does as there's a *lot* of piracy."

Cuthbert followed up on this and made a comment suggesting that,
"Monsters is such a good fit it is being pirated I think, maybe the pirates will buy the full version out of guilt?”

Cuthbert was asked whether the game could perform a check to see if the copy is legit,he responded,
“Unfortunately the pirates could just hack those kinds of things out”

With piracy hurting Q-Games, it is only a worry that third party developers may also feel discouraged about PSP development. Action must be taken in order to support these developers.
