News \ E3 2008 - HOME to be region locked

According to PS3Fanboy.com, HOME will be region locked. They were given an in-depth look at HOME at E3 and had plenty of questions to ask, including whether or not you'll be able to game with friends on the other side of the world.

Unfortunately, the answer was a disappointing "no". Apparently, you'll be able to invite friends into your apartment, however, you won't be able to play a game of chess or go bowling with them (or participate in any other HOME features together).

Like PS3fanboy states, this probably has to do with advertising and international tastes differences in culture.

yeah if its gonna run smoother and be able to play with australians would be better and less crowded lol. the same thing happenes to me in gears of war and texas hold em on the 360 when they argue all the time lol im pretty sure it gets released in spring this year
