I just 100% do not understand y anyone who isnt buying mainstream games wouldnt shop at EB.

Cheapest price (price match) and 7 day returns.

Its my opinion that one who doesnt buy from eb is a fool.

I buy from eBay. Cheap and lots more to choose from. There are hardly any places to buy games in my town.

Target Country (a smaller version of Target) is the only place I can think of. But their games have been there for years. I don't think they even have PS3 games.

You're right, they dont have PS3 games. Even Video Ezy dont have em yet. I talked to Bobby there and he said he is gonna wait til more people have PS3's cos at the moment there aren't enough. You, Cherrona, need to go in there and nag him. And then buy a PS3 too. I was gonna look see if we can get em through my work cos that'd be awesome.

I think anyone who buys from Eb is a fool..second hand games sold as new,unwilling to drop prices unless you ask...dodgy as.I use them to EB Rent.$100 deposit rent free for 7 days.

Did you apply at EB once and get laughed at or something pirare - EB is oviously the best placce to get games.

...and they can be ripped off blind!

I bought a copy of ZOE on ebay and it was scratched and didnt come with the MGS demo... i was lucky to see one at EB and just pulled the old switcheroo and took it back the next day.

How can you not love EB i mean seriously!!!

EB sucks, they r only good for trading. i dont trust their used games after i bought 2 thats right 2 dodgy games off them that didnt work. haha i also sold them a copy of FF8 that didnt work. haha

game traders all the way, way more trust worthy and they give better trade value 2

A guy at game traders full had a go at me over the counter cause i said a NES for $100.00 was a rip off.

I muttered it to my gf after i asked him the price and he shouted acros the store...

"Its not a rip off!"

and i said "Yes it is!"

It almost turned into a scene.

Some old dude about 45 he was - he seriously took offence.

NES = $100

SNES = $100

Master System 1 = $100

Nintendo 64 = $70

Thats all EBgames are good for (7-day return policy)
GameTraders have always been a rip-off, but they do import US games if you can't wait for a specific title.
I think each shop has aleast 1 advantage to shop there

EB: 7-day return policy
JB: cheapest prices
K-mart: look out for specials/mainly PS2 games, but no range of ps3 games
Shop Online: convenience
Harvey Norman: you can buy a TV and electrical goods at the same place - more range then JB HiFi

When you return a game after a 7 day trial Eb sell it as brand new to the next customer ,this game is now second hand,i managed one of there stores for 2yrs .they dont test there traded games or consoles either.

I saw Bobby today Liam. He just said there isn't enough demand for PS3 games yet. But I'm sure if both of us keep annoying him, and get other people to annoy him too, then I'm sure he'll get some in (just to shut us up). I can be really annoying sometimes.

i dont really have a fav game shop i just go to a shop that sells games and most of the time i just happen to go to EB. depends where i am but most of my games i have bought from EB, some from Harvey Norman and some from Ebay. but ebay sometimes rips you off. and sometimes i dnt like waiting for a game lol

now, i will occasionaly buy from jb hifi when im near one, but i always go to GAME. so you should add it to the poll guys

, its located in NSW and ACT, the site is www.game.com.au and its great, there is reward cards, so if you get 6000 points (equivalent to 600$) by buying anything instore you will recieve a $33 voucher

great store that takes care of the games, leaves them sealed, and protected, unlike EB games, target,kmart and big w. once i went into kmart and i found some game disks on the floor. or when i buy my games from EB they are pre owned, when i buy NEW ones (i mean i get new games, but they always come to me pre owned somehow, especially psp stuff) and the disks are kept in the manuals, which tend to scratch them.... so i dont buy from eb kmart or target. i buy from GAME Jb-HiFi and Toys Are Us

better value, as EB will try to rip you off. check it out. game has the same 7 day policy aswell and price matching, and better trade ins to new games.

Yeah Game is heaps better the Eb..the staff actually know about gaming and dont try and bull**** there way through,and they have the points thing and 7 day trial and on average there trades are 5-10 better then Eb also there games are Pro-locked so you get a sealed copy.
Everyone has to get out of the frame of mind that Eb is the only game place i is in fact the worst of them all

I quit working there...

I buy from Eb ONLY because of the two reasons in my last post.

It makes the most sense to buy there.

Cheapest price matched and you can return the games if your not happy...

So simple.
