Okay guys, as promised here's the new thread for dicussing all thing Home related. I will have multiple posts, each with some useful information to help us all out!

As we all know, Home is an interactive community. Something that Sony has designed to help us all enjoy our gaming and socializing more.

So far the following spaces are present in Home:

- Home Space: A quick meeting point and also a central location for all of Home
- Game Space (Bowling Alley): A place mainly used to play games including Pool, bowling and a few arcade machines.
- Shopping Mall: A place to buy new things for your Home or Clubhouse, only a few items are present as Home is still a closed Beta.
- Theatre: A place to watch some trailers of latest games or movies.

In total it's about 300mb to download all the intial areas...

Some spaces we have seen in previous Betas or screenshots/videos:

- Uncharted - 4 rooms: bar, office, trasure room, lounge area
- Farcry 2 - 2 rooms: train station, office
- Buzz Gamespace - with playable Buzz Game Controller and questions on a big screen
- Resistance: RoM - with Chimera in stasis tubes...
- Warhawk - with a Sand table in the middle of the room to plan your assault [levels rise out of the sand]
- Trophy Room - with 3D trophy cases in which you can display your trophies.

SCEA has confirmed to Joystiq that the social platform's public, open beta phase will arrive before the end of calendar year 2008, as we've been hearing for some time. "We've been saying it will launch by the end of calendar year 2008," PlayStation Home director, Jack Buser, responded when asked about a December release. "And that's getting very, very close," he concluded, laughing.
