I know he is just giving his opinion, i like opinions but its the way he words it..like we are all children or something...really ****s me to be honest.

Come to think of it, i guess it does really apply to all you HD loving people with you're perfectly realistic decapitations. Too bad Longarms hit the nail on the head. Nintendo and Sony do NOT allow R18+ games on thier consoles, simple kotaku.com/ Really it's mainly the crap games that don't make it here, and when they do get censored for local release, nothing drastically important is taken out anyway; except for the blood in No More Heroes (god i want the US version).

Lol, i am very good at very quick amounts of research. It doesn't really matter anyway, none of the big 3 console makes allow R18+ games anyway. This topic is totally pointless.

Well, this mother took her 8 year old kid to watch The Dark Knight (rated M 15+) and the kid freaked out. Now this mother is saying The Dark Knight should be rated R!

Clearly the majority of Australians need to be better educated about the classification system. Just because these parents don't understand the ratings, doesn't mean that banning R18+ games is the appropriate solution. The OFLC should be educating parents out there, so that they can make more informed decisions. Then the majority of gamers (over 18) can enjoy the R18+ games they desire ...
I know for sure that when I become father ... I'll be making smarter decisions than most parents in regards to the ratings.

So basically she's blaming everyone else for her bad parenting and stupidity?
Seriously, what kind of moron would take a kid to see a movie rated M? Although I'm surprised that the staff at the cinema allowed the kid to go in.
She's got no-one to blame but herself, but that won't stop her from trying to sue someone.
I wonder, if we had an R rating for games, would she give those games to her kid and blame game developers for any nightmares he may have?

I agree, when I was 8 I was seeing many more horrifying movies. I'm only 13 now. That mother should of known it wasn't for kids. As I was saying to my friends, (who hate "Batman", they think it's nerdy) neither Batman Begins notr The Dark Knight is for kids.
