His argument makes no sense. Or, is "The Godfather" just not as interesting as video games?

And that kid's parents should be to blame if he does turn out to be some crazy who is easily influenced by games.

The responsibility always seems to be on game developers and the stores that sell the games.
Parents are never held accountable for what their little uh, 'darlings' play or do.
That's why politicians oppose violent games.
Some parents can't be bothered to talk to their kids and monitor what they play/watch. So they make a big fuss to politicians who do what they think most people want so they can get votes.
Don't you just HATE politicians.

The only good thing i can see is perhaps we might be privvy to the uncensored US version of the overly-gory 'No More Heroes'

yep sadly its all ture. When manhunt 2 was rated AO(18+) in america it had to be edited down so that it could get an M(15+) rating other wise Both Sony and nintendo would not allow it on there systems kotaku.com/
