- Custom Visualization for the music player

- The ability to set the on/off timer on the PS3

FW 2.10:
- Better DVD and games upscaling (by utilising the Cell)
- Version 1.2 of Folding @ Home
- Ability to create your own folders and name them
- Use your PS3 as a cookie machine

FW 2.20
- Home on the XMB
- In-Game XMB
- Animated wallpapers for the PS3

ingame access to the friends list: i don’t care if it isn’t in an XMB package but if you could just open your friends list when you press the PS button then it would be fine and you could send messages and chat to people while you are ingame .

RSS reader the rss reader on the psp is really handy for podcasts and stuff so it would be great to have one on the ps3.

better web browser once they can get the newer versions of flash running on the ps3 custom kernel structure then the web browser will be much much better, also i would be nice if they made it faster .

and there are a tonne of other little improvements they could make like folders and animated wallpapers maybe a redesigned store but I guess we will have to wait and see what we get
