Demos \ [Demo] Folklore Limited

It means that it'll disappear from the PS Store on August 31st. I cant imagine it disappearing off your PS3.

Alrighty, I just had a go at Folklore! I Chose Keats out of the two playable characters (Ellen being the other one). Visuals in my opinion are very good. Combat concept of defeating the enemy and gaining their ability is awesome, you can map different abilities to the X, square, triangle and circle buttons.. Not sure if I like the process of holding R1 and moving the controller upwards to capture a soul, it's kinda cool though! Overall I enjoyed it but I think I'm eagerly awaiting other titles at the moment!

Yeah I just don't think it warrants enough for a purchase above other games at the moment. Anyways, I keep using Brummbear (The cannon blasting dude) he owns haha! Will be some souls with awesome abilities in the full version I reckon, there were some good ones in the demo!

Oh yeah the camera is a bit annoying at times as well when you trying to run around!

And Keats is insanely powerful when you get to the stage where you can press L3 and R3 at the same time!

Yeah it's a fairly enjoyable game man! I just had the biggest workout defeating the boss at the end of the demo haha because you have to swing the controller left to right to capture the soul. Took me a while to get it, I must be crap at the timing I reckon, my arms sore now!

Folklore visuals are brilliant man! Characters, monsters, environments all look stunning! Gameplay is decent too, a fault would be the camera angle but I am kinda used to that having played Ninja Gaiden Sigma!

well its by the same people who did genji: DOTB so yeh it looks great, and this time the game part is actauly good too.
