Atm i am with Westnet, and i think i'll stick with them as there monthly download limit suits me perfectly

Im with optus, and i pay like $100 for 40gb off peak and 20gb on peak on a speed of 256kbs

Lol thats the thing like back when i was in grade 7/8 ringing up bigpond for broadband assistance = they repeat everything you tell them and either make things worse or fix the problem and make a new one haha

The only bad thing about having a fast download limit for the month is once you use up all you're downloads the internet goes real slow until the next month starts up because you have gone over the limit

Are you serious!? Man you're getting totally screwed! Go to www.tpg.com.au and check out their broadband deals, like seriously one of their adsl2+ deals has 150GB of Usage before you get capped! I'd be joining up with them if they covered Tasmania

i saw an ad for them in the paper h4mmer but the $100 i pay is also for the phone bill

Lol yeah it's just all about watching what you use. From now on i'm always going to try and download what i need during the month and at the end have a huge download bonanza with the gigs left over

Lol H4mmersmit man, the problem with me mate is i use it so quickly which results in a very slow internet for atleast 20 days until the end of the month

i dont usaly go over my limit i only have a 512 conection and 20 gigs of download but i chose to pay for extra downloads rather than geting a slower speed as its only $5 per gig i go over.

In my opinion all service providers suck! but you have to go with one right. Firstly do your research for the best deals connection fee etc.. and mention what they are offering cause they won't on the phone and you'll get shafted. I'm with iinet with ADSL2+ VOIP and 21gb downloads 7gb peak and 14gb off-peak at $59.95 for the month there pretty reliable. Funny thing is, it cost more without voip so why wouldn't you want faster internet.
