To kick thing off, when you are watching a movie, just press square to go straight to the menu and when you want to type numbers on the keypad, just hold down the button where the number is and it will stop on the number.

Ummm... before you start playing any PS1 or PS2 games make sure you make an internal memory card cos other wise you wont be able to save your progress.

You can set Folding@Home to run after 10 minutes of activity by selecting it and pressing triangle and changing the run settings.

depends on the video. Its real good because you just click on download for iPod or PSP and it immediately opens up the screen to choose the video destination.

Get Nero 7 Ultra edition to stream any video file through your ps3 and onto the TV... Probably my most used PS3 application. It converts the codec on the fly, so you can play any format...

Also when watching a video or playing a song, press the ps button to have the ps3 menu imposed over the clip...
