In all honesty, they can never "look the same". You get what you pay for.
In my opinion, computer LCD monitors do the job fine. So long as they support HDMI and 1080p. They're not perfect, but at least you're not paying figures in the thousands.
I have a Samsung 2494HS and an ASUS VH232H. I like the Samsung better, and I currently have my Xbox 360 hooked up to it (waiting to purchase the 802.11N wireless adapter before shifting it back to the Bravia)
