Im 15 and i love playing video games. Grand theft auto is my favourite series but if you notice in the games they have brought a little more swearing and sexual references into each new one. So GTA IV will most likely end up with the same criteria as san andreas by them cutting content out. And san andreas was great.

HEY on the us subject. I downloaded Baseball from the us psn store. it used to work ok, now after updating the firmware to version 2.20 it goes into ntsc mode when you start it up on a black and white screen. is this happening to anyone else. Has sony done something to limit region game playing?

GTA IV was merely stating his opinion on the game. And if GTA IV does think life is that "peachy" than what's the problem?

In the end it is just a game, and those who only buy it because they wanted to pick up a prostitute need to get a life (I don't mean to sound rude by the way).
The deleted/edited content won't have much of an effect on the game.

Anyway, I don't want a flamming war to start in here, so please stop and THINK before posting. I don't want to have to ban anyone (even if it is just a short ban).

what is everyones problem with calling each other names on here?

Ok ill start here.

1. I said no need for strong course language.

2. Prostitutes and that are ok if it is like san andreas where it is done in a car and they dont do anything. It just sets the effect. But GTA IV must have something worse than GTA SA if they are cutting it down, or they wouldnt be cutting it down.

3. They will set everything down to GTA SA standard or a bit above. All you need in the way of sex is what they had on GTA SA. As to where the language will be the same as GTA SA. So it must of had something bad in it like the "C" word.

And lastly 4. Argument over.

Now can we all come to an agreement and stop this immature ruccus?

I dont think all prostitutes will be deleted. It might end up like SA where they just sit in a car and it bounces. So you hold l2 + r2 and they are both just sitting there.

Its good with the swearing but i dont really wanna hear the "C" word on a game. Im just glad you can stil free roam. How funny would it be if it was like NFS Pro street and instead of free roaming to missions it was just a menu and you chose a mission. lol. that would suck so much.

Well I find it laughable that people want games like Manhunt not banned but Im not gonna put them down for liking those games am I, personally I find games that involve alot of voilence not needed but I dont believe in censorship & it should be up to the consumer to decide what they will & wont buy. If this means a 15 year old cant buy the game then I think thats a good thing, why are their parents letting them play games that are so violent, thats the real issue, obviously not doing their jobs. Just give us a 18+ rating for some games then let the adults play the game as the developers intended.

you have a point, but at the same time, hungry teens need to play something too! i'd say do use nz's classification scheme:

RP 16 means that anyone under 16 years of age can be shown or supplied this if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

I agree that we should be allowed a choice when it come to what we buy, play, or watch.
But I personally don't care about sex in games. I'm not saying that no game AT ALL should have it, and that it should be completely banned. I'm just saying that I don't care if it is or isn't included.
