Harvey Norman have it aswell and it takes about 2 minutes to get approved. I got a samsung plasma yesterday, im gonna pay it off in a month or so i just wanted it asap and its interest free and 2.95 p/m account keeping fee which means i got a plasma up front rather then wait a month for 2.95 lol and then once its payed off i can go back and get a home theatre with the same deal, good if your gunna pay it off quickly.

depending on the company lending you the credit, you may have to pay back a dollar figure (probably 200) if you discharge the credit borrowed before a certain time frame (3 months usually).
Small price to pay if you can pick it up straight away.

JB Hi-fi use HSBC, theres no fee for paying anything off early, take with you drivers license, credit card & a bill with your name on it & it should be fine.

Watch out for Harvey Norman (Hardly Normal).

They use GE through finance and they can be a bit dodgy sometimes.

I thought JB uses GE as well Crazynites?

I know Bing Lee uses HSBC.

They can do GE too I think but I believe they have a preference for HSBC if you dont already have a GE card. Maybe JB get better fees from HSBC or something.

Nar thay can't do ge only hsbc, like when I got my 32 brivia from there I had a ge and they said we do hsbc and that's a whole ne credit card and bla bla, so I told my old man, then he paid for it on his credit card which is no intrest credit card and told me just to pay him the monthly payments, so I pay 70 every 4thnight

im confused... why would you pay off an interest free early if you get charged for doing so?? just have the money for it sitting in a bank account gaining interest for the 3 months or whatever, then pay it all off??

they don't get charged any interest during the free period, they only charged you for the processing fee and the fee which they sent you the statement every month.

with interest free there huge fee if you paid it off early and it wrong with interest free it just mean JB don't have interest but HSBC or GE do it work same as personal loans.
i know someone that did at HN and after the interest free period he end up paying more on iten then what it worth

do you even know what your talking about.

I have purchased so many things on interest free with both GE & HSBC from places like Harvey Norman, Dick Smiths & JB Hi-Fi , not once have I ever been charged to pay something off as fast as possible, the only time you will get charged interest or fees is if you allow the interest free period to end or if you dont make a monthly payment, INTEREST FREE does not mean you dont have to make a payment during that time, most still require you to make a minimum payment once a month. Most of them will charge a setup fee or account fee but this is the case with alot of credit cards.

There was a 78% chance of stuff being (currently) out of stock and that's why people should call the (particular) store up before hand. My advice.
