Social \ Anyone jailbroken thier iphone 3gs yet?

I haven't since I've read each update of firmware reverts it back to standard firmware. I'm waiting for fw 2.1 to come out (heard it has increased GPS capabilities which is something i use my iphone for a fair bit) but then I will jailbreak it.

For 1 reason only. I wish to tether that lovely internet 3g connection from my iphone to my laptop. I dont even need to install any 3rd party apps, just use SSH.

Thoughts?

I dont really have any need to at the moment, but I might in the future. It is annoying that they dont let you use the Iphone as a modem though.
