i race street cars with it Bit better then sitting on my butt ey?? But then again the PS3 IS and investment, I used it to play movies and thats it. It doesnt play all of my movies so I got rid of it, now I use a good dvd player that plays everything. The PS3 right now isnt worth the 1grand simply because I can get 3X the GFX on my computer. Hell the whole "ZOMG PS3 FTW" is true its great. BUT If they bring out any of those games on computer which they eventually will, well you know that computers will once again be better. Then there will be another console and another and bla bla bla. You see getting rid of that ps3 made me want to go skating again, and not sit playing ps3 games and movies. So it is a good thing, and as i said if it werent for NFS prospeed I wouldnt look at buying a ps3, hell If its going to be released on computer too then I wont get one.
