Firstly, what Collector's Edition and Limited Edition games do you own?
Secondly, when do you purchase a CE/LE game? For a game that you really really like? Or if the CE/LE contains a figurine?





I'm asking this, because I'm wondering if I should get the CE/LE for Saints Row 2, Brothers in Arms and Far Cry 2.

So far i of the special editions i bought was GTAIV, DMC4 and BFBC.

I bought The special Edition of GTA for the lock box and i thought it was worth it. I bought the special Edition of DMC cause im a massive fan and it was only $10 more. And for BFBC the special Edition (gold edition) was dirt cheap at JB so how could i say no.

I guess it just depends is the extra stuff your getting worth the $$$

At the moment, I only have the GTA4 LE.
My mate's helping me pre-order Resistance 2 LE at GameStop.

Maybe I shouldn't bother with LEs for Saints Row 2 and Brothers in Arms.
I'm still considering Far Cry 2 though:

because i'm picky and get bored with some games easy I have never brought a collectors edition.. just in case i wanna take it back or trade it. however Far cry looks great.. I'm thinking of getting fallout3 CE if i can still get one... Actually when oblivion came out for PC I remember buying the gold edition which had a book and extra big map.... I will get a CE for SKATE2 when it comes out!!

Collectors Editions are only good for games you really like. I would have got a MGS4 one if Australia hadnt sold out so quickly.

Despite the fact that you already own MGS4 (I'm assuming) ... would you purchase the LE off ebay? Even if the seller jacked up the price?

$170 at EB games...over $300+ on ebay.....

I just want the blu-ray disc...

I got a copy of the American MGS4 LE with my Gun Metal MGS PS3 ...

You sure? If mine was region-locked, it'd be Region A.
That would mean it shouldn't have worked on my PC, because I set PowerDVD to Region B.
I'm fairly sure it's region-free ...

Correct me if I'm wrong ...
But I will try it on my PAL PS3 in a second

Unless its the same price as the standard edition I won't spend the extra $$ as everyone know we already pay enough for games here in Aust. I can only think of when God of War 3 comes out I will get the CE/LE cause I have the special edition of GOW2

I so wanted MGS4 LE but yeah it was sold out due to me not pre-ordering didnt know it was that that of a huge fanbase lol....Aparently i dont have any the closest would be BFBC G.E which is MEH....I saw at GAME that they are giving the artbook of bioshock if you pre-order...
