Saints Row 2 - 7/10

You start off in jail, they are taking off your bandages because after the explosion you got pretty messed up. The nurse bends over and pulls the bandage off... you are instantly thrown into making your character, similar to Fight night, but with many more options. you make you character and start your game. Bust out of jail and end up back in the row.

The story line is a lil patchy, but basically you've been in a coma for 2 years, people have moved in on your turf.

You have to take it back and kill the people that get in your way.

Okay so it brings back aspects of gaming that people were hoping for in GTAIV, such as. You can:

Buy different cribs, - similar to GTA SA and Vice city
Buy cars and customize them - GTA
fly planes and helicopters - GTA
Customize your cribs interior
Change you face and character at any time
recruit gang members
play the main game with a friend online (AWESOME FEATURE)

I every other way it is similar to GTA San andreas, yet more emphasis on over the top fun and mayhem and less on story line substance.

It is worth buying? Do yourself a favour and hire it for a week instead.
I think the shelf life is limited, but easily can be picked up and played anytime.

Put it this way you'll appreciate GTA IV alot more after playing this game.

The developers said it was getting a patch at some stage i think which is cool since trophies auto make this game an awesome game this is better then gta with trophies just adds so much to the fun factor.

YEah I have read at a couple of places that this is getting a trophy patch

I know you can,t compare it to GTA but they are the same style of game play but i have found SR2 to be a lot more fun than GTA4 i got bored of too early in the game. In SR2 i like the vehicles the customisation of them and yourself, for sure go and rent it or buy get a mate over for some drinks and have a blast
