December 6 2007 was the day Naughty Dog's Uncharted graced our stores. With it's Beautiful Quality showing not only jaw dropping animation of characters but a highly soothing yet realistic view of the true rainforest nature!

Beginning Plot - Storyline:

You begin the game as a man named Nathan Drake who uncovers a coffin owned by his "dead" ancestor who he knows to be a highly experienced proffessor using co-ordinates in which were originally inscribed on a ring in Nathan's possession. Inside the coffin you locate the diary of Professor Drake, leading to none other than the lost city of ...

Graphics

During Uncharted, you as each the character are most always in the rainforest.


Now this can become a really hard job for producers to actually re-create the beautiful rainforest environment and put it into a game. The Playstation 3's most loved new graphics possibilty gave Naughty Dog the chance after a hard effort, to create a wonderful rainforest environment.
I believe that the perfected graphics turn out of Uncharted shows the wonderful effort put in by the Naughty Dog team.

Then again, not only is this game based in the forest, also in Tombs!


Not recognised by many to also be hard to recreate. All the interactivity of the tomb, the very dim light room and characters reaction to the surrounding environment all need to be done with fine perfection for the game to come out as stunning as it has. Another great effort by the Naughty Dog team is shown throught the tomb segments of the game.

Sound, Audio

Running throught a beautiful forest can be fun, but the experience can be a whole lot better when your running through a forest, when the birds are singing the trees are swaying, animals thumping and the lovely silence flows through your mind changing you & the way you think. Stimulating you thoughts...


The Naughty Dog team weren't gonna let you play in the forest with a missing piece to the puzzle!
Audio in Uncharted is absolutley Amazing, if you havn't been in the forest after playing Uncharted, you really don't need to!

Controls

The controls of Uncharted are purely original and simple yet very suiteable to the game.

From a small handgun to a full on AK 47!

From Driving a Jeep to shooting enemies from the rear end of a Jeep.

From Climbing ladders to swinging on vines and even getting drenched in the lake!

Value for Money

After experiencing this game in my own hands, I believe that for how the game really is, it's price is very small!

Cool Facts

1. The wetsuits that Drake and Elena wear have the fictitious brand 'Ottsel' on them, an obvious reference to the race of Daxter, from Naughty Dog's Jak and Daxter series.

2. On the side of the plane in which Nathan and Elena fly reads "Hog Wild", a reference to one of the levels in the original Crash Bandicoot series, entitled "Hog Wild"

3. One of the hidden treasures in the game, called "Strange Relic", is a Precursor Egg from Naughty Dog's Jak and Daxter series.
