Uncharted: Drakes Fortune - 10/10

Uncharted Drakes Fortune is a very good game that is very similar to Lara Croft. This game looked awesome all along even from the very start. Naughty Dog have produced many great games including Jak and Daxter and Crash Bandicoot but Uncharted has been its most successful game yet. This review will cover the main characters, the graphics, the sound and the gameplay/storyline.
MAIN CHARACTERS:
There are only 3 main characters throughout this game and they include:

Nathan Drake">

Elena
Nathans friend Victor Sullivan/Sully.
You see these characters most the game as sometimes Elena gets lost or kidnapped and you have to go and save her.
GRAPHICS:
The graphics on this game display what a real PS3 game is meant to look like. When you roll around in the water and stand under waterfalls, you come out with all you r clothes wet. When you stand out in the sun for a bit, it slowly gets drier. Also when the sun is going down in the afternoon, you can see perfect shadowing. Naughty Dog did an excellent job on that particular feature. Also his clothes are very detailed with creases in them and some dirt on some parts.
SOUND:
Many sounds go on during the game including birds chirping, insects singing to gun shots and people screaming “GET HIM!!!” The many sounds that do occur are timed perfectly and sound very good especially with good speakers.
GAMEPLAY/STORYLINE:
Uncharted Drakes Fortune is about an explorer named Nathan Drakes whose grandfather Sir Francis Drake was also an explorer. Drake, Sully and Elena set off on an adventure of a life time. The adventure of discovering El Dorado. Uncharted is a mix of a third person shooter and an Adventure. The platforming elements in this game are similar to games like Prince Of Persia or Tomb Raider allowing you to jump, swim, swing from ropes, grabbing onto ledges and other similar acrobatic moves which help him make his way along the ruins. When it comes to attacking, you can either use melee and combo attacks when the enemies are in close range or just use your weapons that you carry.

You can carry one smaller weapon like a pistol, one big gun like an AK-47 and 4 grenades. It is a better option to choose the smaller weapons even though there not as powerful, they are a lot more accurate. The game would get quite boring if it wasn’t for extra things you can do like be gunner on the back or a jeep with Elena driving,

and drive on a jet ski also controlling Elena who has the gun.

In the game when you are climbing from ruin to ruin, you can face many risky jumps.

In one level you have to go exploring on an ancient ship. You find many pieces of old Spanish Coins but you also find this guy!!!!!

Well that concludes me review. I hoped you liked it. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes a bit of an adventure and likes Lara Croft or Prince Of Persia.
