Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - 10/10
This game is the second of the COD series to be available for the playstation 3. From the past games all being set in the world wars, this is a new improved game set in the middle east and Russia of the present time. Yes thats right, this game is set to our time. No more killing the german army, you are on a mission to kill the insurgents. With a whole new range of modern day weapons and support including air strikes, helicopter gunship support and MORE!!!
The weapons include sub machineguns, light machineguns, assault rifles, shotguns and sniper rifles. Alongside this deadly aray of firearms you have attatchments. These range from red dot sights to suppressors.
Now to the gameplay. You take control of SGT "Soap" MacTavish of the British SAS and SGT Paul Jackson of the United States Marine Corps. For one mission you play as CPT Price of the British SAS. You play in a variety of locations including Russia,the middle east, Azerbaijan and Prypiat.
The president of an unknown middle eastern country, Yasir Al-Fulani, is exectued on national TV. You and your team are sent in to find and kill the members that were involved. You first find and kill Khaled Al-Asad, the man that executed the president. You find out that a man named Imran Zakhaev was the man behind all this. In order to get to Imran you have to kill his son, Victor Zakhaev. Whilst looking for Imran Zakhaev you witness the enemy launching nuclear warheads. You have to quickly go and disable them. Imran Zakhaev has no chance matching against the SAS and the USMC.
During your hunt for the key enemy targets you play various missions including, saving a cobra pilot, being the gunner on an Lockheed AC-130 gunship, going back to play a mission as Cpt. Price in a flashback and many others. If you want the BEST First person shooter for YOUR playstation 3. This is definetely the game to get.
